Following the decentralisation in 2015, municipalities became responsible for the Social Support Act (Wmo), the Youth Act and the Participation Act. The Frisian municipalities subsequently established a new organisation: Social Domain Fryslân (SDF). Since 2017, we have been advising Social Domain Fryslân on the procurement of all forms of youth care and social support services.

Duet’s team has since guided various open house and procurement procedures for SDF and has been closely involved in the procurement of, among other things, highly specialised youth care, specialised youth care, crisis care, dyslexia care, foster care, ambulatory supported living and residential supported living.

In addition, Duet continuously advises SDF on a wide range of issues relating to the performance of the various agreements. Duet’s lawyers have also successfully assisted SDF in interim relief proceedings concerning fair tariffs and in several interim relief proceedings regarding suitability requirements relating to effective interventions.
