Giulia has extensive experience as a lawyer in construction and procurement law. She specialises in purchasing and procurement within the social domain. She advises various municipalities and care regions on current issues such as care fraud, excessive profits by providers and effective interventions. In addition, she has successfully assisted several municipalities in legal proceedings concerning fair tariffs.
Giulia also has broad experience in the procurement of, and interim relief proceedings relating to, various types of contracts, such as renovation projects, temporary staffing, debt assistance and advisory services. She also advises on large-scale construction projects. Between 2018 and 2020, she was involved as a permanent legal advisor in the Zuidasdok project. Since 2023, Giulia has been a permanent project lawyer for the IJburg project in Amsterdam.
Giulia regularly publishes in Pont | Zorg & Sociaal and in various professional journals. She is also an author of the SDU Commentaar Aanbestedingsrecht and regularly lectures. In 2020, Giulia completed the Grotius postgraduate programme in European and Dutch procurement law cum laude.
Giulia has been recognised as a Rising Star 2024 and Next Generation Partner 2025 in The Legal 500.
