Sanne specialises broadly in construction and procurement law. She advises and litigates on a wide range of procurement law matters and has extensive experience in setting up and guiding complex tender and procurement procedures. Sanne has specific expertise in procurement within the social domain practice and is well informed about current themes and developments, such as fair tariffs, profit regulation, healthcare fraud and Bibob screening.
Sanne also deals construction law and contract law cases. Her focus is on advising professional clients on the realisation of major construction projects, such as the construction of the Victory Boogie Woogie Tunnel in The Hague, the renovation of the Binnenhof and the development of the PALLAS Reactor and the Nuclear Health Centre in Petten. She has experience with both traditional construction contracts (UAV and UAV-GC) and more collaboration-oriented contract models, such as alliances, two-phase contracts (including 'construction teams') and various Cost+ contracts (NEC4 and FIDIC). Where necessary, Sanne represents her clients in legal proceedings before the civil courts and the Arbitration board for the building industry.
Sanne regularly lectures and publishes on construction and procurement law for various institutions and in professional journals. In addition, she is a board member of the Dutch Association for Procurement Law.
Sanne has been recognised as Next Generation Partner 2025 in The Legal 500.
