As part of the ADAM advocaten collaboration, Duet acts as one of the municipal law firms for the City of Amsterdam. In 2023, Duet’s lawyers successfully assisted the municipality in interim relief proceedings initiated by a large temporary employment agency in connection with a procurement procedure for the engagement of temporary staff. The agency had lost the contract for a number of lots and disagreed with the award decision. The dispute in the interim relief proceedings concerned the question of whether the evaluation methodology had been applied correctly. The court held that this was indeed the case and that the award decisions had been made on the basis of a correct assessment.
