Martijn has more than 20 years of experience in construction and procurement law relating to medium-sized and large construction projects in the construction and infrastructure sectors. He has gained this experience in various roles, both on the client side and the contractor side, as well as in an advisory capacity.
In addition to extensive legal knowledge and experience, Martijn also has relevant technical expertise, derived both from his engineering degree (Civil Engineering, Delft University of Technology) and from projects where he provided contract-related legal advice on site.
Martijn has particular experience in guiding complex technical installation projects, such as the transport technology and finishing contract for the North–South Metro Line, the ICT and train control systems of the Amsterdam metro, the tunnel technical systems of road tunnels in Amsterdam, and the functional systems of the Amsterdam traffic control centre.
