Christina has been a lawyer since 2007 and specialises in construction and procurement law. She advises and guides clients on complex projects involving challenging procurement law issues, ranging from quasi in-house constructions and public–private partnerships (PPPs) to open house models and material amendments.
Christina is also regularly consulted for advice on the Didam judgment and supports public authorities in the design and execution of sale procedures. Her experience includes various major projects, such as the sale of the former Pieter Baan Centre and the redevelopment of the Codrico factory site in Rotterdam.
In addition, Christina focuses on current topics, including the application of the Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) and issues relating to national security. She is involved in the development of the General Security Requirements for Central Government Contracts (ABRO), an important instrument in light of increasing (digital) threats. Christina also plays an active role in the energy transition, including the procurement and contracting of heat concessions.
Where necessary, Christina represents clients in legal proceedings, but she prefers to prevent disputes by providing clear and workable solutions at an early stage. Clients value her no-nonsense approach and practical perspective. With her mechanical engineering background, Christina offers concrete solutions that make complex projects feasible.
Christina is a member of the Dutch Association for Procurement Law (NVvA) and the Dutch Association for European Law (NVER).
The Legal 500 lists her as a Leading Associate Construction (2025).
